This is a solid piece and very heavy. Top weighs about 100 lbs on its own. Base is probably close to the same. I had free white glove delivery, but it would be easy to assemble with two pieces and just the screws to connect them. Picture shows 3 of the 4 chairs that I bought from Wayfair also. This dog bed has been perfect for my large Goldendoodle! The size is great and gives my dog plenty of room to stretch out and get comfortable. The cushioning is soft but still supportive, so it seems really comfortable for longer naps.
