Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend.
