I removed a star because this set was hard to put together with just one person even though I managed to do it over the course of a few days. TIP Make sure you connect the bars to frames 6 and 7 in the correct orientation or it won’t connect to the 8 frame correctly so don’t tighten the screws fully until you make sure thats correct, you can turn the bars to correct it if the screws are not tightened prematurely. The table is very sturdy and looks good. There is a seam in the center but I bought a short runner to cover it. Really happy with the product, seats seem sturdy also. These chairs were super easy to put together, and the instructions were easy for me to read and follow. They didnt have too many parts and it only took about 45 minutes to put them both together. The chairs are heavy with a nice weight, so no worries about them blowing away. They recline back perfectly as well and swivel nicely! The fabric is nice, but the seat cushions are a little on the thin side. Ill definitely need to upgrade those because you can feel the bars underneath. I am really only giving this a four-star review because of the useless lumbar cushion. The moment you sit down, the force of your body pushes the lumbar cushion right out of the opening in the back. Why not provide a bigger cushion or make the opening smaller I have submitted photos that show the opening. The chairs are a good buy for the price, but that useless lumbar cushion makes me nuts.. We bought this 9 piece dining set for our new house. I like that it is small with 4 chairs when not expanded and can seat 8 when we have guests. It’s easy to expand and we like that the leaf is part of the table and we don’t need to find space to store it. It’s quite heavy and sturdy. I love the finish to look at but it does scratch easily. We use our bar stools for about every meal, so it doesn’t get a lot of use. I don’t think I’d recommend it to a young family as a main table though unless you view inevitable scratches and blemishes as character! It works for our situation though.. Deborah. Cincinnati, OH. These swivel patio chairs are very comfortable and sturdy. The cushions are thick and supportive, and the swivel function is smooth without feeling loose or unstable. They were easy to assemble and feel well made once put together. The design looks modern and elegant, and they fit perfectly on my patio.
