It is soft and very comfortable. I have back pain and mornings are always hard for me to get up and moving. Since I have switched to this mattress I do not wake up with any aches or pains! The mattress has a good thickness and my fitted sheet fits on it with ease. It is well made and the stitching shows it. I will be sticking with Serta for all my families bedding needs!. Beth1982. It’s softer than I thought it’d be! I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased.
