The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. The delivery and haul-away service were seamless, making the installation process as stress-free as possible. The range came with detailed instructions, and I appreciated the included QR code that provided additional information and resources. Setup was straightforward, and the documentation was very helpful. Aesthetically, this stove is exactly what we were looking for. It has the beautiful appearance of a gas range while offering the convenience and efficiency of an electric model. It instantly elevated the look of our kitchen. This hood sucks smoke better than any hood I've ever had. When it turns on the glass keeps the smoking from just rising to my ceiling. It's like a commercial hood. Anything I throw at it it handles.
