This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. Great product for protecting concrete. Be careful with how you want to apply this product. I used a plastic container and sprayer, and this sealer literally melted the plastic/ spraying wand. I had to buy stailess steel sprayer to apply this sealer. Also, use a very good quality gloves to avoid any skin rash. It would be great if the supplier supplied MSDS sheet and warning label to not to use any plastic sprayer. Product is excellent, easy to apply! This is a terrific little system! I am a tea drinker and my husband let it slip that the UK has hot water on demand in many places... I asked if we could and lo and behold! Installation was easy*, although we didn't use the supplied filter as we have it going through a filter system already. The temperature isn't exact, so we did have to mess with the dial a little. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely..
