I liked the idea of these blankets to cover my couches, so when my dogs lay on the couches they would not dirty the slip covers. However, my dogs play in a lot of dust and dirt. Unfortunately, the dirt would begin to show in two or three days on the white background of the blanket. Consequently, I was washing the covers almost twice a week. I’m waiting for a new product. I ordered this to go on my leather couch in the den/tv room. I have a six year old Pittie who loves to curl up on the couch waiting for her dinner every evening. Thought this would be a good cover to help protect the leather and give her a nice soft spot. The weight, quality and non slip backing are very good. My one disappointment is in the color. I ordered the "brown" option and the color arrived and is a putty/taupe hue. Not exactly what I had hoped for and really doesn't go with the amber/brown theme in the room. The fur was a little matted when it arrived which is understandable but it is starting to fluff up after being open for the last few days.
