Due to the long-term compression that the sofa has undergone during transportation, the internal filling and structure need some time to naturally return to their original state. To help the sofa return to its best condition more quickly, it is recommended that you take the following measures after receiving the product: First, you can gently pat each part of the sofa with moderate force to promote the loosening and rebound of the internal filling. At the same time, place the sofa in the sun to dry moderately (be careful to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to prevent material damage), and use the natural temperature to accelerate the restoration of its fluffiness. For possible wrinkles on the surface, you can use a low-temperature iron (it is recommended to line it with a cotton cloth) to gently iron it, which will restore the appearance of the sofa to a smooth and new state. With these simple care methods, your sofa will achieve the ideal comfort and aesthetic effect more quickly.

Just to be clear, I did not request a replacement weathervane and I did not receive one. I called Wayfair because I could not see assembly instructions or screws through the clear plastic which enclosed the pieces of the weathervane. I did not want to open the packaging in case I needed to return the item. After a short hold, I was advised that the missing items would be sent to me. I did send a photo of the unwrapped item, as requested. The next day I opened the packaging and realized that assembly of the product was actually very simple, using the picture on the website as a guide, and the only screws required were the 6 screws to attach the weathervane to the cupola, which I purchased at a local hardware store. The attachment piece was not suitable for my cupola, so a friend was able to fabricate it to fit. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. My only suggestion would be for the supplier to include a simple 1 page print-out or a pdf on-line for assembly in the product description, as well as a note indicating that attachment screws are not included..
