this set was actually much nicer than expected. Had purchased to put on our front porch and not really be used (more for visual than function) but they are comfortable and really nice in person. I ended up moving something else out on the porch and added these to the deck so that we can enjoy them. Easy to put together. My thirteen year old son did everything start to finish. They do swivel and rock slightly. Cushions are fairly thick which was a nice surprise. I figured I'd have to have them replaced as other sets' cushions have been lackluster at best. The drill bit provided ending up stripping a screw so we used the hex key which was very time consuming. These chairs are great! My husband and I put them together fairly easily. We ordered two sets of these chairs. It probably took us about 3 hours total to put 4 chairs and two tables together. That included unboxing and unwrapping everything. The chairs are super comfortable. They glide and swivel easily. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the description of the chairs says the cushions are 5 inches thick. Even after letting the cushions expand for 24 hours, they are definitely not 5 inches as you can see in the picture. They are about 3.5 inches thick. He did mention that the quality wasn't the best and that assembly took a little extra work compared to higher-end furniture. That said, once it was put together, it looked great and has held up well. What I love most is how well it fits a smaller patio. The pull-out ottomans are a wonderful feature, and the set creates a cozy space to relax with a cup of coffee, read a book, or simply enjoy the outdoors. The gray cushions and wicker complement my deck beautifully. If you're expecting premium outdoor furniture, you may be disappointed. These rocking chairs are way better than expected! I will say the boxes came with absolutely no protective padding and there was slight damage to one of the chairs, but not noticeable. The chairs are a plastic material, which is resistant to weather, but it is a rattan inspired design giving it a classic look. The frame is a very sturdy steel that looks like it will last for years to come. I love the design and colors of the back cushions and seat cushions, and also like that the set includes an additional set of seat cushion covers (blue and grey). There is a button on the chair to attach the seat cushions, so they do not slide off - very nice touch. I did not have any trouble putting all the pieces together and really appreciated the included ratchet hex wrench! That tool made installation a breeze!
