They are indeed very very heavy and arrived in two different packages which was only annoying b/c then I had to get people twice to bring them in, versus just once but two trips at the same time. I just thought that part was odd. They haven't been installed yet so I need to update my review once that happens. I am concerned that there is going to be a large overlap in the middle because they cover 62" to 67" inches and my opening is 63". Will report on that after install.. Laura. Atlanta, GA. These shower doors are amazing! My husband sent me on a mission to find two sets of shower doors for our new home because he doesn't like shower curtains. He also told me to find a big-name brand door so the quality would be good. As I begin looking for the big brand doors, I found these. The price and the reviews were so much better than the big brands that I decided to take a chance on these. The quality and look of these doors are very high end. The are heavy duty, beautiful and though they take some time they are relatively simple to install (if you are good at that sort of thing, which my husband is). It took us a few hours to get them installed but once we did, they were perfect.
