I bought this screen door for its ability to protect my glass panel front door from any hurricane damage. It has come through both Helene and Milton like a trooper. Years ago, we installed a hunter green door with a digital lock in Texas, and it was fantastic. However, we eventually had to replace the digital lock. Unfortunately, the company shifted to high-volume production and now only offers key locks. Aside from that, it's a sturdy door. We also had the option of etched glass, but they decided to stick with standard glass instead, limiting our choices. It's disappointing! I got the open box item, thinking what could go wrong with just open box products. This was in good condition even though it was used slightly. I know this because I work in quality and my job is to find defects. I had to make a few alterations putting it up and actually mounting it to grout making it more sturdy when opening and closing the doors, it won't move.
