I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? Works great, tried many kinds in the past, this cleans well and has great suction. Easy to clean, come apart easily. Love this vacuum although not happy with the cord holder used when vacuuming. Doesn't hold the cord at all which means I've gotta hold the card in my hand.
