This will be my second set of Schmidt Brothers knives because their quality had me cone back for more. The bonded ash is for a different kitchen. These are stunning in person and I am thrilled with them. The handles are each uniquely different in grain shades yet uniform in pattern. The block is a beautiful brown with a smoky stain. From the box, the insert measures 33.13'' wide by 22'' deep by 2.38'' high and can be trimmed all the way down to 25.25'' wide by 16.38'' deep to fit most shallow drawers. Double check your drawer's opening (inside dimensions) to allow the best fit. Measure side to side (width), front to back (depth or length), and top to bottom (height).
