The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. Unit is defective from manufacturer. Contractor installed and the hood will not raise up. I know electrical controls pretty well and after doing some troubleshooting the button to raise the hood gets no power from the board and the fuse is in good condition. Hope it gets fixed quickly.. This is a very well built range hood. Plenty of power for clearing smoke from frying and steam from hot pots. Reduction of odors from the kitchen while cooking are noticeable! Light is plenty bright and even on the highest setting, fan noise is not objectionable. Black stainless color blends well with other similar colored appliances in our kitchen from GE, Samsung, and KitchenAid. Only concerns are that you absolutely should inspect both the box and appliance prior to installation. Ours arrived with a large and noticeable dent in the hood that could not be repaired. Wayfair support was helpful swapping this. Carefully inspected the new unit prior to installation. No issues. Note this does not come with a 110v cord. If your installation is using a 110v outlet for power, you will need to purchase a grounded appliance cord separately. Note that photos were taken with light on brightest setting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas.
