The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. This is a great range hood fan and I researched many many different ones before coming across this one. It's actually a Canadian company but the actual company was out of stock . Wayfair was as well but their back order came in pretty quickly. The hood is gorgeous with everything I wanted it to have ( 4 lights, not just 2 and they're DIMMABLE!!), 2 simple dials; one for lights and one for fan speed ( no ugly black electronic panel with yet another clock..lol) and it's pretty quiet, even on the highest speed which is a powerful 750 cfm. When not in use it is flush with the stovetop which helps create a flat seamless flow on the countertop. When we have used it, it works very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure.
