The 4" length is just right for a decent hand grip without squishing my hands and it will be perfect for the new French closet doors I am installing. I got this shower drain for my shower because I needed to replace the old one. It is very nice but it didnt fix my shower drain. So I contacted Wayfair and got a refund on it.
