This vintage 3x5 rug is a bold new addition to the mid-century pasha collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970, this piece is a rare pictorial rug like few ever curated in Müren’s work. Its design depicts a leaping tiger and tree in beige and brown hues over a chartreuse green field. Keen eyes will further admire black and red accents made to look detailed in this piece. Though extremely collectible even for his works, its unusual, playful colors and daring graphic nature exemplify Müren’s sense of attitude that distinguishes his work. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off.
