I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. This is heavy and very well-made and all the drawers and doors operate smoothly and are positioned exactly/ symmetrically . I have a habit of leaving drawers and cabinets open but these shut on their own when you partially put them in! Very nice white painted finish. The fixtures in my bathroom are polished nickel and not chrome so I purchased different knobs.
