Ensure your measurements are precise and finished wall material is in place before measuring for your shower door. The header and rail will be shipped long and will need cut to size during installation. Tools needed to install the door are: tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill, 7/64-inch, 1/8-inch, ¼-inch drill bits, #2 Phillips screwdriver, 3/16-inch wrench, sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone recommended). I was remodeling my tenants bathroom, I wanted something attractive of decent quality that didn’t break the bank. I am very impressed with this door. It is a heavy door, the box was 130 pounds, the glass is thicker than I expected for the price point.
