These doors are great! I didn't want to paint doors and these were bright white. They came well packaged, no damage. They are very heavy and took 2 people to put them up, which were my husband and I. They are, in fact, trimmable as we needed them to be, but be mindful that you need to remove screws at the bottom to trim it, then replace those screws afterwards, so you may want a pro to do this if you not exceptionally skilled. They do have a fairly good sound barrier even with glass. The glass came down lower than expected, to mid-thigh on my 5'5" frame, but it's good for letting out natural light, which I needed. Of note, the veneer is thick and is sort of plastic, not paintable, so do not chip it. We have one tiny chip to fix which was our fault. The veneer does make it easy to clean though. The draw back it the trim that comes with it is basically cardboard with veneer and is garbage. I literally broke it with my bare hands. We used real wood trim. Update 121625 - Ok, Doors have been installed now my husband will put holes in for the doors for the handle hardware and wait for our warmer weather to paint doors (black). He will paint the trim and doors black. But these doors provide such a much more expensive and quality look. The contrast between the original doors and these 5 panel doors are night and day and the soundproofing is sooo much better. We have a open concept home and to have the solid core makes such a difference. So much so we were going to leave one of our doors that is not seen in the main area original but he had me order another one today. I will say these doors were prices extremely well over the big box stores or any competitor. I can not express how much these doors have increased not only the value of our home but the beauty. Our home is an open plan and the doors being as they are you hear everything and this was his biggest complaint outside of the fact that they were plain and ugly.
