These doors are great! I didn't want to paint doors and these were bright white. They came well packaged, no damage. They are very heavy and took 2 people to put them up, which were my husband and I. They are, in fact, trimmable as we needed them to be, but be mindful that you need to remove screws at the bottom to trim it, then replace those screws afterwards, so you may want a pro to do this if you not exceptionally skilled. They do have a fairly good sound barrier even with glass. The glass came down lower than expected, to mid-thigh on my 5'5" frame, but it's good for letting out natural light, which I needed. Of note, the veneer is thick and is sort of plastic, not paintable, so do not chip it. We have one tiny chip to fix which was our fault. The veneer does make it easy to clean though. The draw back it the trim that comes with it is basically cardboard with veneer and is garbage. I literally broke it with my bare hands. We used real wood trim. We havent had a chance to install yet. Doors arrived as stated and were packed in heavy wooden crates. I have no doubts that they will be lovely when installed. I plan on using them on the opening between our bathroom and bedroom. Update... we finally installed our doors. We are loving the privacy that they give. We didnt realize until after we had placed the board on the wall that the track can be cut and that the weight on the end of the track serves as a door stop. We ordered additional pieces to serve as the door stops. They are easy to open and close without the handles but keep in mind that if you put them in a heavy trafficked area you will more than likely have to wipe them down quite often. What a nice door and to think the customer support man helped me find it! All I can say is that it arrived quickly and is the perfect replacement for my old basement door which was letting the draft in during this past cold weather and it really was freezing here in Oklahoma!
