For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. The size and hinges are good but there was a chip out of the frame, rough edges and drippy primer. Square in the frame and easy to install. I really like the weight of this door; not too light. Needed some sanding and some black goo removed. Edges around the hinges are rough like could have used sharper cutting tools. Painting this door is odd in that the paint doesn't stick very well and will peel off easily on a 2nd coat if you need to remove small debris while you're painting.. Mary. Beavercreek, OR.
