Update 121625 - Ok, Doors have been installed now my husband will put holes in for the doors for the handle hardware and wait for our warmer weather to paint doors (black). He will paint the trim and doors black. But these doors provide such a much more expensive and quality look. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. What a nice door and to think the customer support man helped me find it! All I can say is that it arrived quickly and is the perfect replacement for my old basement door which was letting the draft in during this past cold weather and it really was freezing here in Oklahoma! This is a great door and exactly as pictured and what I needed for my bathroom linen closet. I haven’t been able to hang it yet due to not having the tool to cut the hole for the door handle and hinges but the door came in perfect condition and is primed nicely. Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. I would have left it with the glossy white if not for the water damage that took the finish off the corners. Basically it’s a good door just take care in the install.. Renee. Orangeburg, NY.
