Love this as an accent to the main wall in my new shower. Tile guy said it was HARD to work with because it’s very thin. So the glue filled the grout lines. Not SO HORRIBLE if you choose glue colored grout. But I wanted black, so he had to go through each piece and make sure there was room for the grout. Not sure I’d buy again. This new stone glass tile is designed with interlocking match, consisting of blue crystal glass and grey Natural Stone. They are waterproof, 3d texture. The color of the stone chips comes from natural stone which is random, some look gray and some are darker, we keep their nature color, and did not add any artificial dye. The surface has been polished to glossy while allowing it to be gorgeous. The blue glass chips are made with a combination of premium vinyl blue substrate and crystal glass. The glass is come out from a high-temperature process, which makes it have a strong impact, not fragile. The color will never fade. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan.
