Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times. This item is 4 separate pieces. It was very easy to put together and arrived very quickly. I expected the drawers to be shallow given the depth of the piece so expect that. The shelf in the larger pieces is stationary but is adjustable in the smaller side pieces. I was worried the oak/oak would have a yellow undertone in it but it does not.
