Bought this specifically for my back porch. My dogs use potty pads often at night, but I dont like throwing them away in the inside can. I took a chance and ordered an open box for this item. It was package like a new one, however, after unpacking everything and proceeding into the assembly, I found that the plastic piece inside kne of the legs, to receive the caster/wheel was broken and pushed down inside the leg tube and not operable. Since I had it completely unpacked and partly assembled, I decide to try a fix. It was obviously broken. I hade to pry/pull the plastic part up and out. It came out in two pieces, should be one. I tried to glue the pieces together and re-installing. Now it has a loose fit but I was able to get the shaft of the caster wheel in. It is loose but appears to be working. Not at all sure if it will hold up when I get the cart loaded up? I believe this was a return and wasn’t inspected properly or they would have caught this broken critical part. I would like Wayfair or the manufacture to send me a new plastic piece that is inside the leg tube so that I can properly assemble the caster/wheel into the leg.. Rex. NC. Mon Dec 19 2022

Nice and Heavy This trash can is nice and heavy, but I wasn't thinking when I purchased it. I bought it for outside, and there is no cover for it when it rains. We did put some bricks in the bottom to keep it from blowing over. It is nice to not have to touch a lid. I've been looking for just the right container to put recyclables in, and sit next to a Rubbermaid waste bin. The 8 gallon ended up being the perfect size, and looks nice.
