The color and texture are WAY off from the photos. It is shown on the website as being a darker reddish hue with contrasting orange fringe on the ends and subtle lines stitched through it. The lines are non-existent and the color is far more brown with the fringe being the same shade as the rug itself. We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that!
