The Royal Danish silver "place" spoon I ordered came today; it is exactly what I wanted! Earlier I returned a "table" spoon, which actually was a serving spoon. In any case, I was most impressed with how efficiently and easily Wayfair made this whole process. Thank you very much. That said, however, I must tell you that both I and my husband are retired and living in a retirement community. Consequently, we are trying to give away our possessions, not acquire more. I bought the spoon because one of ours had disappeared. Accordingly, please don't send us material describing new items. These visually match our original Melon Bud pieces from 20 years ago with two differences. The first and more important difference is that original sets were 188, and these are 1810. The second and barely discernible difference is while the length of the knife is the same, it has a very slightly different curvature. No one would ever be able to notice these differences on your table (it’s tough to see even with two knives in hand looking for the difference) and the pieces still feel nice in hand, which was the original appeal.
