These are exactly what I was looking for. I had purchased, from a local hardware store, what I thought were quality mats. After only about 4 months the wiper spikes broke off and left behind a flat surface that in turn became nothing more then a water tray. Not useful as a mat to wipe messy footwear on. I have used these on every carpet in the house. I have wood floors, and its difficult to keep the carpets from sliding. Each corner I have placed these carpet stickers, and now my carpets stay in place. They are extremely sticky and even work on my outdoor carpets. There are 16 pieces in each bag, so it will truly be great if you have many carpets in the housevlike me. There is a clear sticker and a white sticker, just peal and stick, literally.
