What a beautiful, colorful, easy to maintain rug. Pulls all the eclectic colors from my home decor into one focal piece. Just the fact that it is mostly constructed of polypropylene puts me at ease because it will be easier to wipe clean/shampoo, vacuume and CAN handle high traffic. I’ve had wool rugs, cotton rugs, jute rugs, and all have been hard to keep clean, the cotton wears out way too fast. Granted, you can have the wool rugs cleaned professionally but I like to do stuff at home. A lot of people don’t know that poly propylene is natural fibers. It’s more expensive than polyester, but it’s definitely more durable so when I search for rugs, I look for higher content with poly. Another plus is that poly is less likely to cause allergies. I ordered the runner and it was pretty much as advertised. It isn’t a pure white but it was certainly close enough and it blends well with my decor. The product was packaged well including fabric caps on the ends to protect them. The reason why my rating is lower than 5 was because the rug is very lightweight and the backing very stiff so it was difficult to get it to lay flat. I tried weighing it down and using carpet tape to no avail. I ended up having to steam the backing and I finally got them to lay flat.
