Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. I am so excited for my new tankless toilet!! I love the foot flusher and how easy it will be to clean. That being said, it is the heaviest toilet in history... I helped my husband install it but I thought I was going to pull my back out or have a heart attack while doing so. Make sure you have help to install or pay someone to do it. I absolutely LOVE this toilet. I pretty much dont have to touch it. I have an suppressed immune system so hygiene is a top priority.
