Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it. These ceiling tiles are a little difficult to put up, however, we accomplished the goal. They are light weight and easy to handle, but you will need two people to hang them. Be sure to apply glue to all parts of the tile (particularly on the back of the little squares) except the center flat space because it will get a "lumpy" appearing texture. I love these tiles! I thought they might be too big of a tile for regular height ceiling but they look great. I glued them up all by myself.
