Beautiful curtain rod, great quality! It looks very nice in my home. Other reviewers indicate that the finials are plastic, but that is not the case. The finials are metal, although it is a lighter weight metal than what the curtain rod is made from. The finials are still sturdy and very well made. The product description is a little misleading. It indicates that no matter what size rod you buy it only comes with two mounting brackets. I asked a Wayfair representative if that was correct and was told yes that is the case and I would have to purchase additional brackets separately (from a different brand than the curtain rod maker). When I received the curtain rod and I ordered a few different sizes for different rooms, the larger rods had additional brackets besides the two that are listed in the product description. I ended up returning the additional brackets I bought (and Wayfair was great about waiving the return fee since it was their mistake for advising me to order more brackets). This is a substantial corner rod set. It is very strong and made of quality materials. I give it five stars for that. But I sure wish the photo online had shown better detail. The finials are the style of a 'rubbed oil bronze' process only using black paint instead of bronze. I did not see this in the picture online. The paint left on after rubbing it off makes them look messy as it doesn't completely cover all areas that needed it. There are spots that are still silver and missing the black paint accent. I am going to repaint them myself to help them out and improve their appearance. They have substantial finials. They are a good size so that they show well even with curtains on the rod set.. Thes design was perfect for a window with extremely limited space for a curtain rod and finials. I looked for a long time to find the right design for full functionality and my aesthetic. These were almost perfect. I’m glad I chose light weight curtains because the rod is not as big in diameter as I would have liked. I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using.
