Large and sturdy. The cushion could use a tad more padding or maybe some memory foam mixed in, but overall it is comfy. Assembly would be easiest with 2 people due to the awkward shape. I also suggest putting rockers on after one support is on, so you don't have to undo all the bolts on the support to get the rocker piece lined up.
