This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. Please note you have to buy the concealed wall box with this or it cant be installed. Mine arrived with a dent and as my contractor failed to tell me before installing it, I feel I have to keep it. Had he told me before installing it, which was rhr last thing he did as his job was done, I would have exchanged it as it's a great towel warmer and works well. I love this! I have a contemporary master bathroom that doesn't have a lot of ventilation, ad a wonderful pool/spa with wet towels and bathing suits, that gives you a need for a heated towel rack that dries 'em. This does that. I agree with other posters that having more space between the bars would have been nice, maybe the top bar with a 6" spread. BUT it looks gorgeous!
