These are beautiful -- exactly as pictured. I ordered two to frame my vanity mirror and they really, perfectly completed the look of my spa-style bathroom. Although the product description says that this fixture is not dimmable, my electrician installed them on a dimmer switch and with dimmable bulbs they do seem to dim quite nicely. Tip: I wanted that classic look as pictured (with the Edison-style incandescent bulb), but I also wanted the cost savings and environmental benefits of using an LED. Sylvania makes a warm, 40W equivalent, Edison-style LED bulb that looks very much like the classic incandescent version with all the benefits of an LED. It really suits these sconces. DISCUSTING quality control for 1 lamp with a black shade!!!!! It all started with the shades: I received a single shade WITHOUT the base so I called Wayfair. The SECOND lamp never showed but a second SHADE arrived WITHOUT the base AGAIN !!!! but his shade was damaged. Then after yet another call to WAYFAIR to get a complete lamp the base finally arrived but it was damaged and not assembled correctly plus this shipment was shipped WITHOUT a shade even though the packing slip noted a shade had been shipped. To make matters worse when I requested a replacement lamp base to replace the first damaged base when the second base finally arrrived it ALSO HAD THE SAME DAMAGE and poor ASSEMBLY ( lopsided on the pedistal base and incorrecly inserted crystal cube) as the first lamp base!!!!! NOW I have to call WAYFAIR yet again to get this matter settled...and hopefully receive a third base in excellent condition so I can install this $ 700.00+ lamp for my patient client !. Deborah.
