The screen came exactly when it was supposed to, about 2 1/2 months after ordering Oct 30. I was a little concerned when it hadn't 'shipped' by mid-December, but customer service explained that shipping isn't updated online until it reaches their warehouse in the US. I'm glad I waited! Packaging was excellent, crated, screwed shut, with dense foam on all sides (not Styrofoam). The screen itself appears to be very good quality, a double sided print with a metal frame. The print is a little less delicate than expected but the colors look exactly as pictured. Good weight, sturdy. I think it is heavy enough that the large rampaging adult kittens won't knock it down. I got the largest one. The sharp metal corners will scratch flooring so I'd recommend adding stick-on felt pads to the bottom before raising it from the crate and positioning in your home. It was fully assembled and easy to maneuver with two people. It fit exactly where expected in the house(we measured before ordering). Thomas Chippendale illustrated designs for "Chinese Railing" in his furniture style bible, The Gentleman's and Cabinet-Maker's Director, first published in 1754. From London to Williamsburg, fashionable houses incorporated porch railings and stair balustrades designed in the Chinese manner. We've interpreted a fretwork porch railing from one of the grandest townhouses in Williamsburg-Robert Carter's house next to the Governor's Palace for our Chinoise Fret collection.

The Aeon CLR 3 is an EDGE FREE fixed frame screen that utilizes our CLR 3 (Ceiling Light Rejecting) material. Its serriform optical surface lens microstructure negates the washout effect of ambient light especially from overhead sources. This also enables the material to provide contrast levels that are 75 times greater than that of standard matte white projection screens.
