This is a high-efficiency condensing indoor natural gas tankless water heater designed for continuous hot water. The built-in recirculation pump with auto-learning programming not only provides instant hot water but also only provides it when needed. Industry-leading low flow activation with a minimum flow rate and minimum activation flow rate of .50GPM. Ultra-low NOx burner meets SCAQMD rule requirements of safety for low emissions. Additional safety features include a flame sensor, overheat cut-off switch, gas and water leak detectors, and exhaust and water temperature sensors. Venting up to 100’ with 3” PVC or up to 50’ with 2” PVC pipe. Can be used with up to 5 bathrooms depending on inlet temperature; .94UEF (.96EF Canada), 180,000 BTU efficiency for the 10 GPM models, and 199,000 BTU efficiency for the 11 GPM models. I installed this unit in my 2/1 1960's condo replacing a 30gal water heater. What a great product! The install was easy i had to upgrade my breaker to a 60 from a 30 which meant upgrading the wiring gauge, which wasn't hard at all. I have hot water on demand now that never runs out! my 30 gal tank would only provide about a 5 min shower now its as long as i want. I have to fill my tub with free flow hot water at only half flow but to keep hot water but i figured as much from such a small unit. overall it was very much worth it to ditch the hot water storage tank and have hot water on demand for as along as in need it. If i were to try to heat a larger house with 2 or 3 baths I would suggest a larger unit but the product is GREAT!!. Nonya. FL. Tue Apr 09 2024
