This is a cute item, for sure, but the price is too high for the level of quality. Silo top was misshapen and would not attach without adjustments, and the holes in the legs were not large enough to allow the bolts to pass through for assembly. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them. This container presents the chickens with an easy way to get feed. I put organic laying pellets on one side and organic scratch feed on the other side. Waste is eliminated by the fact that the birds pick the feed inside the box. They like to peck through the feed while eating. I put this box in the coop so I did not have to protect it from the elements. I did put a piece of plastic on the top because they often roost on it.
