The housing and frame are constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. The lamp housing compartment can be adjusted to fit ceiling thicknesses from in. to 1 in. The socket position can be adjusted to accommodate ceiling pitches from 2/12 to 7/12 pitch. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides. Wiring is made easy with the included wiring quick-connects that allow simple installation of 12-20 AWG wire without using separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in. The housing has pre-installed nails on the adjustable hanger bars which are easily installed in regular lumber, engineered lumber, and laminated beams. Hanger bars include t-bar mounting clamps for use in suspended t-grid ceilings. These are great lights. The adjustable feature for color temperature works very well, and the lights themselves seem to be of good quality. Haven’t installed yet, but these were a great value on sale! I’ve seen some places charging 80 per light and the cheapest other option was still 40.
