Great size, love the larger depth of the shelves, which is why I bought it. Feels sturdy once it comes together correctly. This would have been super easy to put together, but unfortunately one of the holes in the crossbar didn't line up correctly to the side panel not matter what we did. Due to how the shelves just snap on to the side panels, this shelf will just fall over if you don't have that crossbar attached correctly. We had to go buy a drill bit that could go through metal and re-drill the hole to make it work. It's great now, but a little disappointing to have spent $250 on a defective shelf. When reading the instructions there is a part that says not to tighten the screws until done. TAKE THAT TO HEART! You are going to have to work with the screws to get the last couple of shelves lined up with the frame. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because the crossbar pieces do not have anchor nubs on both sides. There are holes for them and it can be confusing and worrisome at first because the instructions show the nubs, but they are not on both sides (at least not in the framing I received). Thankfully, the missing nubs do not affect the build. Putting it together takes loads of patience and it helps to have an extra set of hands to help you. We are happy with these shelves, they are easy to put together and quite sturdy. The stock pictures are not accurate. The metal bars are gray and the shelves are kind of a washed out medium oak color. Be aware the top shelf has the finished side facing down and the top of it is the unfinished black. This is purposeful and not a mistake. When viewed from average height you see finished surface instead of unfinished.
