The vacuum was $999 on another site so I tried Wayfair. The description was confusing as to what attachments came with it and for that reason I give it 4 stars. The vacuum is perfect. I did end up buying a turbo power head from another site (having to buy a power head separately is pretty standard with these high end vacuums). It’s my first wet/dry vac and it did what I thought it would do, and eliminated a few chores per week from my normal cleaning routine. I typically use a broom to sweep several times a day, then vacuum and then use a basic mop with disposable pads every other day. I used this instead of a vacuum and now I only need to use either a real mop or a mop with disposable pads every 1-2 weeks (I have 4 small kids). This machine vacuums perfectly and I love how it works on my big area rug. I think it’s the cleanest it’s ever been. It doesn’t clean up hard or dried on spills super well because you can’t push down hard and muscle it like a mop, but I wasn’t expecting it to. Would be cool though. The machine was perfectly user friendly and all the directions you need are on a card that came on it. It’s easy to clean the dirty water tank, and it’s filthy when I clean it so I know the machine is working. It’s pretty loud so I need to use it when my kids are awake. The chord is long enough I can do a whole floor of my house with it plugged in in one spot, the tray it comes with to store it is one of my favorite parts because it doesn’t drip anywhere. I also LOVED how it gets right up to the edge when cleaning and sucking up crumbs. In that capacity, it’s more impressive than my very expensive stick vacuum. This is a great vacuum. It’s the perfect size and easy to store. Easy to maneuver around. I love that it is rechargeable and no cord to drag around. It extends to make it taller or shorter in length. They always make messes at meal time. Between spilling liquids and crumbs, its always a pain to clean. You had to get papertowels before you could sweep then mop, but now all I have to do is grab my CrossWave and it takes care of it all together! Its very easy to use! I love the mechanism that changes the noise when the tank gets full. Its very helpful since you cant see the tank when youre using it. Everything on it is also easy to clean! The roller comes right out to rinse and dry, the tank comes out easily to empty/dry. It cleans the floors nicely as well! No streaks after using, and it doesnt take more than 5 minutes to completely dry. It goes right up against my baseboard heating which is usually a pain to clean! The machine itself is very easy to use, however, I am uncertain if it works on carpet. It says multisurface and looks as if one of the pictures on the instructions is carpet, but it doesnt say clearly if you can or not. Only one room on my main floor is carpet, and I am able to use the CrossWave in the other 4 rooms easily on one charge which is also very convenient! I highly recommend the CrossWave Edge Cordless!!. Between my dog that sheds and tracks dirt in and toddler on the move, I reach for this tool constantly. What I love most is how it vacuums and mops at the same time. Between dog hair, spilled snacks, and random sticky spots (thanks, toddler), I used to have to vacuum and then go back with a mop. Now it’s one pass and done, which saves a ton of time and energy. I find I am also less annoyed at cleaning messes now because I no longer have to take out an army of cleaning supplies, just the Bissel Crosswave Edge and the job is done in a few quick seconds. It handles pet hair really well on hard floors, and the mopping function actually scrubs up dried-on messes instead of just pushing them around. That’s been huge for things like juice, yogurt, or muddy paw prints. The cordless design is another big win. I can quickly grab it for a 5-minute cleanup after meals or let the toddler run around without dragging a cord everywhere. It’s easy enough that I actually clean more often instead of letting messes pile up. A couple things to keep in mind: It’s best on hard floors—it’ll do area rugs, but it’s not a deep carpet cleaner The battery lasts around 30 to 40 minutes, which I found gave me adequate time to clean all the spaces I need while not lose cleaning power.
