I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. Updated May 2026 The particles have disappeared- maybe absorbed with moisture of bathroom or just settled. I do also like the timer feature so the lights will turn off if I accidentally have left them on- same with defogger. Cool mirror. Love the lighting features. Great product for the price. The LEDs make it easy to change colors. Easy to install. This is the 10" and we could have gone a little bigger for the space. Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. Great light, perfect brightness, love the tunability, and easy to install. While I appreciate that the light bars/tubes are inserted into the main fixture body for ease of installation, I think this creates the lights' only flaw. The light tubes is a loose fit into the main fixture. There is nothing securing and holding the bar out of place. I was rotating the bar to set the perfect angle and it would come out of the fixture. When it comes out of the fixture it resets the colour temperature to 6000K or it turns off completely, so you kinda have to set it in place, secure it into the fixture, and then adjust the colour temperature.
