First the good. This is a heavy cabinet. The wood is thick and pieces instructions are adequate. Not great but if you have put furniture together you will not have an issue. It took me about three hours to put it together but I am a 74 year old woman so your mileage may vary. The bad. There are no magnets to hold the doors shut. You have to lock the cabinet. The top shelf is 3/4" higher to accommodate boxed sets. These CD storage cabinets are made in the USA from real wood (red oak) and are shipped fully assembled (except for the feet, when applicable). The color does vary from picture because this item is 100% Red Oak.

I ran out of wall space for my collection and use two of these for additional space...they are exactly what I needed and fix my "problem"...they enable me to "break up" my collection and put a definite kind of music or mood in a specific area...in one place and easily change it should the mood arise.
