These chairs are great quality and very sturdy. The color of the wood is light with a smooth finish. The cushion has light padding with a firm seat. Putting the frame of the chair was easy but since the seat didnt have any pre-drilled holes on the bottom I taped the seat onto the frame with painters tape, flipped the chair over and screwed each screw in supporting the other side with my kneeslegs. I read another reviewer stating to mark the spots with white chalk and predrill holes (this wouldve been a lot easier)but I didnt have chalk and a white pencil didnt mark on the material the seat bottom was covered in. The chairs are worth the work! The frame took about 15 mins and the seat, about 10 mins. They are very comfort and feels very sturdy.
