This chandelier is a major improvement over the builder grade 3 bulb chandelier that was much too small for the 20 foot ceilings in our rotunda foyer. We did have to pay more than the chandelier itself cost for it to be installed and put together (each crystal must be hung by hand after the frame is completed and hung), but it was still more reasonable than other chandeliers that we looked at that we did not like as much. We are very happy with this purchase! My only two complaints are that the chain is not longer to hang in a two story space and the electrical cord that comes with the chandelier is black, so you must use the velvet sleeves to cover it. If the electrical cord was clear or gold (as on our kitchen chandelier), I would prefer to just see the chain and not cover it. Our electrician was able to add a few links he had, but the velvet covers were not quite long enough to cover it entirely. I don't think that anyone can really see it from downstairs as it is at the very top that the chain is exposed. I would give this five stars if the cord was not so visible!. Laura. Aldie, VA. Update Finally was able to get this chandler installed by a professional electrician. It was so difficult to do, took 3 days. I ended up doing the crystal installation myself because of the length of time it takes to hang. If you do not have time and patience, do not get this chandelier because you will get frustrated and give up.
