Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! This dehumidifier keeps my 700 sq foot apartment humidity levels below 50% -- if not on, the humidity climbs to the high 70s! It's not very loud--just a little white noise in the background that doesn't interfere with TV, music, conversations, etc. I do have to empty the tank every day (sometimes 2x), but it's easy to take out and dump in my sink so not a problem. My previous dehumidifier was the smaller version and ran continuously for almost a year, but then stopped working. I was refunded the amount I paid for that one, and in turn bought this one. I’ve been really happy with this ceiling fan overall. The design is what first caught my attention. The solid wood blades look much more upscale than typical builder-grade fans and give the room a clean modern coastal feel. It works especially well in spaces with white or light natural finishes. The fan itself is very quiet, even on the higher speeds. The reversible motor is a nice feature and the airflow has been excellent for both cooling and circulating air. The remote is simple to use and having 6 speeds gives much better control than standard lowmediumhigh fans. I also liked the adjustable light temperatures since it makes it easy to switch between warmer lighting at night and brighter white light during the day. Installation was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer in a few spots, especially around wiring and pairing the remote. Not difficult if you’ve installed fans before, but first-time installers may need a little patience. My only real complaint is that the integrated light could be a little brighter for larger rooms, but for bedrooms, covered patios, offices, or sitting areas it’s perfectly adequate.
