Well made and easy to assemble. Not the most stable bunk bed we’ve ever owned, but it is enough for an older kidteen who won’t be jumping on it. As a mom of boys, I’ve purchased and assembled several bunk beds over the years to know that these are my favorites to date. I was able to put the bunks together in an hour by myself without any issues. The bunk is sturdy, and I have no concerns about stability or the bed slats coming out, as they snap into place. The attached ladder doesn't take up floor space or block access to the bottom bunk. The height of the bottom bunk not only prevents anyone from bumping their head but also gives my boys a lounge space to read or watch TV. My only complaints are that I wish the upper side rails were higher since current mattresses are not thin, so our mattress sits flush with the rail. We use a pool noodle under the sheet along the rail for extra peace of mind. If your mattress is on the thinner side, you won’t have any issues. The second is that I wish the clearance underneath was just an inch or two taller, as it wouldn’t impact the bottom bunk and would allow larger totes to be stored under the bed. The bunk bed is house-shaped, and also has roof and windows, creating a fun and lovely space to sleep and play. This is just as adorable in person as it is in the pictures. I think the color is spot on to what you receive as well. The instructions were fairly clear, but you know how that goes. Everything feels very sturdy and it hasn't sounded creaky or anything when laid on. Relatively easy install, just took time. Solid construction. There is a metal bar that runs under top bunk, that I purchased pipe foam insulation to cover it as I knew it was just a matter of time before a child hit there head really hard on it. Absolutely love this bunk bed! It is perfect for my 2 and 4 year old. I love that I can reach the top bunk to kiss my daughter goodnight without having to climb up on it and that the bottom bunk is on the floor so I don’t have to worry about my 2 year old rolling off of it. The design is simple and the built in ladder on the side is a great space saver! It was incredibly easy to put together. It took my husband and I less than 1.5 hours to put it together.
