This is a nice set of stools. Even though they are solid wood, they seem a little light weight. They sit at a nice height for use at a countertop or kitchen island. The seat portion is nice and wide. The seat is comfortable except if you’re wearing shorts because the banana leaf rush seat is a little rough in the skin. I only gave them four stars because one of the holes for the leg bolts didn’t accept the bolt very well and my husband and I had to really struggle with it which was frustrating. One of two standard dining side chairs, it features an upholstered seat and inside back in ivory a durable off-white textural weave with a cobblestone pattern, and a soft hand. Contemporary slats on the outside back complete the look. Fully upholstered, this dining side chair features an exposed wood handle at the top creating a functional, yet stylish look. It is available as shown in fabric cresting waves a contemporary art deco geometric pattern in a warm gold coloration, inspired by cresting ocean waves.

Chairs are great but Wayfair’s customer service needs to be tweaked. We ordered 4 gold chairs and received two in white and two in Gold. The good news we highly recommend the Gold over the white they are beautiful. Last month Wayfair goofed up a delivery with a wrong phone number when we had given it to them 5 times. Note we love dealing with Wayfair and they are going to send us the correct chairs. Two goof ups on the last two orders is not pleasant, but it sure beats my wife and I driving all over the State looking for furniture. We highly recommended this Tommy Bahama brand . This beautiful country French ladderback chair is made of solid plantation-grown mahogany. Shaped back and seat rails with cabriole leg terminating in a block foot. This typical provincial chair features hand-shaping and hand-carved beading. Nothing typical about this chair.

UPDATE the manufacturer sent replacement pieces, promptly. I love the set, very sturdy and great quality. The slats on top are not evenly spaced. The support bars under the seat and on the back are bigger than the mortise joints and will not fit in. Can not be assembled as is. The arms, where they attach to the leg and the back are not aligned. The top and the legs came preassembled for the table.
