When I selected it online, I thought the dots in between the diamond patterns were just white painted rubber, but they are in fact metal-backed crystal rivets. The only issue I had was the mat came with a missing rivet, but overall, the quality is nice. Have not placed it outside yet, since our current mat is fused down with ice and snow. I purchased two of these mats for the kitchen. One is in front of the cooktop and the other is in front of the sink. The brown looks great on our new LVP flooring, and they seem to be very high quality. The texture is easy to clean since there aren't any nooks and crannies, which is a bonus. They are very heavy, but still "walk" across the floor a little bit after a couple days. I don't mind having to reposition them though, and overall am very satisfied with my purchase.. Anonymous. I used 2 mats at the top of a ramp in my back yard. The hill is steep and slippery -- there are fruit trees on the terrace that need watering. I used the L shaped parts that are supposed to go over the step edges to anchor the mats into the dirt at the top and bottom.
